Empowering School Leadership

Leadership Coaching and Mentoring

Navigating the complexities of school leadership can be demanding. Our leadership coaching is designed to support school leaders in refining their vision, improving decision-making, and developing emotional intelligence to make their institution more harmonious. Through one-on-one mentoring, we empower leaders to handle stress, motivate staff, and build cohesive teams.

Wellbeing Programmes

The wellbeing of educators crucial to the success of the school community. Our bespoke wellbeing programmes address the mental health needs of headteachers, principals, senior leadership teams, teachers and teaching assistants. By focusing on stress management, burnout prevention and work-life balance, we help school leaders stay mentally and emotionally resilient.

Professional Development

Successful schools require continuous professional growth. Our professional development programmes are built from our Building Blocks for Academic Success model which uses psychology to improve pedagogy, leadership, assessments, psychoeducation, communication and an inclusive culture. We work with leadership to implement change to improve standards across the board, support staff morale, and the education of the children we serve.

Frances, Principal Educational Psychologist and researcher

I have worked with Dr. Adam McCartney as a consultant. Since our first connection, his passion for supporting children, schools, and their families has truly shone through.

I have connected him with Local Authorities that have previously worked with Adam, all of whom have given him glowing praise for his professional abilities and dedication. When I placed him in a Local Authority that had lost their entire EP team, he received outstanding praise for his precise work and professionalism from heads of service. This reflects his passion for his role and his commitment to service users.

Adam has made a significant impact by working alongside the PEP to turn around the service, providing quality ECHP reports and supervision of staff.

Working with Adam personally is wonderful. He is a caring, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable Educational Psychologist with a wealth of expertise.

Natalie, Local Authority Consultant

Working with Adam has been an exceptional experience. His incredible insight into the challenges and predicaments faced by our service users, coupled with his systemic understanding of how to improve our processes, has been invaluable. I was constantly in awe of his ability to see, understand, and find solutions to complex issues.

Adam has a unique talent for explaining difficult concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, which has greatly informed and improved my approach. Our discussions were always enlightening, and I frequently left with new knowledge or a fresh perspective that I hadn’t previously considered.

Adam’s contributions have been instrumental in our progress, and I highly recommend him for any role that requires deep analytical skills and a strategic mindset.

Reena, Clinical Lead

I have worked alongside Adam and have appreciated his ‘balance of thought’ in various situations.  As an applied psychologist, I have witnessed his applications of psychology drawing upon theories and models to inform his decisions and contributions.  He is a reliable person who has demonstrated an ability to think clearly under pressure.  He possesses a calm approach and uses this to great effect.  I endorse him as a fellow professional and EP.
